Batanes Island

Batanes Island is the smallest province in the Philippines. Batanes lies in the enormous waters of the Pacific Ocean. This island has been isolated from the Philippines; because of this, the people living here, which are called the Ivatans developed a different culture.

Visitors here can’t help but notice their houses which are made of stone walled and thick roofs; it is built as a protection against typhoons.

Most frequently visited places in this island are the House of Dakay, Lighthouses of Batanes, St. Dominic de Guzman Parish Cathedral, Mahatao View Deck and many more. Discover the pre-historic burial caves in the town of Itbayat. Enjoy their beaches, such as the Chadpiden Beach and White Beach. Similar to Camiguin. Take a stroll at the Pavaman, which is also known as the “Marlboro Country”, it is a pasture overlooking farm fields.

Banaue Rice Terrace

The Banaue rice terraces are one of the most awesome attractions in the Philippines. Foreigners and locals who visit here never regret spending time to see its beauty. It is truly remarkable how the Ifugaos made it all using just their bare hands. A Banaue rice terrace, which is also known as the eighth wonder of the world, is created by the Ifugaos, 2000 to 3000 years ago. The natives plant rice in these leveled steps until today. It is considered as mankind’s greatest achievement. Banaue has also 4 similar terraces; they are the Batad rice terraces, Mayoyao rice terraces, Hapao rice terraces and Kiangan rice terraces.

Negros Occcidental is known as theThe Sugar bowl of the Philippines”, because of its main industry which is sugar. This is located in the Western Visayas region as well as the capital of this place is Bacolod City, the home of the Negros Summer Workshops.

The main religion of the city is Roman Catholic. Some people practice other religions such as Latter-day Saints, Aglipay, Baptists, Iglesia ni Kristo and Muslims.

and It is the home to 3 major universities, the Capitol University, Liceo de Cagayan University and Xavier University. Cagayan de Oro celebrates the feast of Saint Augustine every 28th of August. Otherwise known as the Kagay-an Festival.

Cagayan de Oro has many attractions. Some of them are the Gaston Park, Saint Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral, Whitewater River, Catanico Falls, Mapawa Nature Park, Gardens of Malasag Eco-Tourism Village, Vicente de Lara Park, Plaza Divisoria, Bonifacio Park, Kagay-an Resort and Pueblo de Oro Golf Course.

There are many special places to travel. To spend a great experience as well as to picture out, how beauty is the place to be. Good example for it is to spend a vacation at France, California as well as Canada. One of the popular places to be spent a vacation with your family as well as your friends and colleagues. I’ve never been there, but I want to visit this wonderful place. I have my Aunt in California. I want to be there, maybe an event. But I am hoping that I will come to that hilarious place…
